The question was simple. How do you tell 25 years of work, people, and progress in a way that feels worth pausing for? As SAP Labs India marked a milestone year, the idea was to create something lasting. A piece that reflected its impact on businesses and communities, while staying true to the people and values behind the journey.
Tell the 25-year story of SAP Labs India in a way that felt human and rooted. The book needed to speak to employees, clients, and partners alike.
It had to celebrate growth, while staying connected to the cultural context in which that growth happened.
We looked to India for direction. Its diversity, traditions, and everyday culture became the lens through which the story was told.
The book followed five themes: Product, People, Purpose, Planet, and Impact. Each theme was paired with a cultural expression that felt instinctive to the idea it represented.
Visually, the pages brought together custom illustrations, cultural patterns, photography, and bold icons to bring each theme to life.
The book was produced as a coffee table edition using FSC-certified paper and eco-friendly inks, and adapted into a digital format so the story could travel easily.
Launched at a major SAP event in Bengaluru, the book struck a chord. It became a moment of reflection and pride for employees, partners, and stakeholders worldwide.
More than a celebration, it stood as a reminder of what SAP Labs India has built over 25 years. Not just technology, but a culture shaped by people, purpose, and progress.
