While automation was quietly changing how businesses worked, this project set out to do something simple: recognize the people and teams behind the progress. As UiPath looked to build a stronger presence in India, the awards became a way to start more meaningful conversations around automation. Not as a tool, but as a driver of change, led by people and real-world impact.
Create an awards platform that could build visibility for UiPath, strengthen customer relationships, and bring automation into leadership conversations.
It needed to recognize meaningful work, give teams a voice, and feel credible enough to return to year after year.
We designed the UiPath Automation Excellence Awards as a complete experience, starting with a simple, intuitive nomination process. A custom website made it easy for teams to participate, backed by a strong technical setup.
The visual language focused on achievement. Winners were positioned as frontrunners, with trophies and recognition woven across communication. From event design and PR to social media and testimonials, every touchpoint was built to make winners feel seen.
Email campaigns drove nominations and registrations, followed by communication that introduced the jury, finalists, and winners. After the event, the story continued through videos, social content, and detailed case studies.
The 2021 awards saw over 400 registrations and 217 nominations. More importantly, they helped deepen engagement and bring automation into senior leadership discussions.
Over time, the awards grew into a recognized UiPath brand property, adopted across regions including Europe and the Americas.
