Zelus Academy Course Trailers

Where learning
found its spark

How do you create course trailers that make people pause, feel curious, and want to learn more, all within a few seconds on a crowded screen? As Zelus Academy prepared to launch its learning portal and app, short-form video became the first touchpoint. The goal wasn’t to explain the courses in detail, but to spark interest, build excitement, and make learning feel accessible and energizing.

What we
set out to do

Create trailers that could build early buzz on social media and help Zelus Academy stand out in a crowded EdTech space.

The films needed to speak to a wide mix of learners, from young sports enthusiasts to working professionals and homemakers, all looking for flexible learning that fit their lives. The tone had to feel aspirational, without feeling out of reach.

How we went
about it

We leaned into what made Zelus Academy stand out: its experts. Well-known names like Herschelle Gibbs and Jude Felix Sebastian became the faces of the films.

Instead of long explanations, we focused on pace and energy. Tight edits, bold supers, high-tempo music, and quick glimpses of coaches in action kept each trailer engaging within 30–45 seconds.

Knowing most viewing would happen on mobile, every frame was designed for speed and clarity. The master trailer brought together moments from sports, music, and personality development, building toward a distinctive logo animation. Letters from different languages flowed into the Zelus mark, reflecting inclusive, accessible learning.

Individual course trailers followed the same rhythm, spotlighting each expert and closing with custom outros shaped around the discipline.

What it led to

The trailers created strong early interest. The master trailer crossed 37,000 views, while individual course trailers saw high engagement, with cricket crossing 42,000 views and guitar close to 27,000.

More importantly, they helped define Zelus Academy’s online presence and set expectations around short, high-impact learning.
